The University of Miskolc is one of the largest higher education institutions in northern Hungary. Its central, in-house print room supplies the whole campus with lecture notes, handbooks and examination forms, marketing material and student magazines. For years the department relied on inflexible offset technology built for long runs, which no longer met today's requirements.

The challenge

At the center of the new setup is AccurioPro Flux Ultimate and its web-to-print portal. Students, lecturers and external customers submit their jobs directly through the university's online portal. Each job reaches the central print room with format, quantity, paper and finishing already defined, so the operators no longer have to set it up from scratch.

AccurioPro Flux runs the whole process, from submission through the online portal to production in the central print room. The result is genuine on-demand production: the university prints what it needs, when it needs it.
