AccurioPro Flux: Version 10.0 released

Redesigned online shop

The focus of this new major version was to modernize and redesign the online shop available in AccurioPro Flux Ultimate. The frontend of the online shop has been completely reworked and can now be used as an open shop that is available to end customers, opening new income channels for print businesses. We have added many new features to support this new direction.

Flux Barcode Pro

With the new payable Flux Barcode Pro option, you have a wide range of additional barcode types at your disposal. You can insert product barcodes such as EAN codes or ISBN codes directly into the print document or place barcodes on the signature to control offline finishers.

An integrated check function identifies invalid barcode data and helps to avoid unreadable barcodes. Print shops working with labels, packaging and VDP in particular can benefit from this option.

Support for AccurioJet KM-1

Version 10.0 supports Konica Minolta's B2 inkjet printing system AccurioJet KM-1, making AccurioPro Flux attractive for customers in the Industrial Printing area. New cross-fold imposition schemes enable it to be used for book printing.

Improved printer settings management

All user-defined printer settings are now displayed on one page, making them easier to access and edit. The settings can be copied between printers and are retained when the device is changed. In addition, you can easily change the default settings stored for each printer to customise them to your individual requirements.

The new version also includes performance improvements, especially when creating (VDP) files with high page counts, many bug fixes and much more.

Here you will find an overview of the most important bug fixes.

General

• Fixed an issue where special PDF files could cause Flux Server to crash.
• Fixed that in very rare cases, source PDF files containing an indexed color space definition with certain contents could lead to a printer error.
• Fixed an issue where AccurioPro Flux added clipping paths when imposing the print PDF file. With some digital cutters, this could lead to the die lines not being recognized correctly or to the cutter crashing.
• Asian characters entered as objects (barcode or text field) are now displayed correctly.
• Fixed that in very rare cases, a pattern was treated as a spot color even though it is created in CMYK (and thus may not be hidden correctly).
• Fixed that in rare cases, special colors were not detected correctly.

Printer management

• Fixed an issue that the printer tray selected in the print dialog was not applied when the paper profile was available in different trays.
• The default setting for Use CIE Color has been unified: "On" for all Konica Minolta PP b/w systems and "Off" for all Konica Minolta PP color devices regardless of the print technology.
• Fixed an issue where products using a printer cluster could not be restored if the cluster was deleted in the meantime.
• Spaces in the printer IP address input field no longer cause issues.

TU-510

• New constraints for the TU-510 profile manager have been implemented to create trim profiles with certain paper dimensions that could already be set up in Konica Minolta TU-510 Profile Manager.

Integration

• Added a setting to configure the client domain name used for SMTP connections.
• Fixed that a Webhook request body did not contain a "data" attribute for some events.

Flux Web

• Fixed that some files of Flux Printer/Flux Web Printer remained after uninstallation.
• Made further adjustments so that Flux Web online payment works properly with the iDeal payment method.
• Newly activated address fields which were not configured by default are now displayed in Flux Web Portals for LDAP groups in the SSO settings.
• Fixed that in case a lot of jobs exist in Flux Web (> 10,000), loading the job list could take a long time.
